Silhouettes

The Boticario Foundation started with the idea that keeping nature balanced is crucial for human life. In our print campaign, we depict the connection between nature and humans by creating images that initially look like animals but upon closer inspection, you realize they are actually people.

We collaborated with the award-winning Brazilian photographer Mauricio Nahas to produce these images. The silhouettes were backlit using a large light box where models could stand, lie down, and pose. The camera was positioned on the ceiling, allowing Mauricio and I to direct and choreograph the scenes.
